The Cedarsong Way Forest School Therapist training is a unique training that will give you the skills to work confidently with a variety of children with special needs. 

We want to make sure that we have the highest caliber of students in the training so that we can ensure the integrity of the program and the skills of our graduates. 

Filling out the form below will help us to get to know you a little bit and what you are bringing to the course, and it will help you to understand the requirements and expectations.

This course investment – for the June 2025 training only – is $750 plus the cost of 6 group mentorship sessions at $45 each.

Trainings will begin in June and October 2025. Each course series lasts three months so you have plenty of time to integrate the information.

Next training begins Monday, June 16, 6 – 8 pm Mountain time.

Please note: the June training is at the reduced rate of $750. The October rate will be at the full price of $1200.

You must have completed the Cedarsong Way Teacher training in order to participate in this therapy track training. If you have not yet completed the CSW training, you are eligible for a bundled rate that includes this training. Please go back to the "products" page to purchase the bundle.

Requirements for certification

This is an intensive training that we believe will prepare you to work effectively with kids with a variety of challenges as well as to increase your skills of inclusion for all kids. However, we can only ensure that if you commit to doing all of the associated work. Below you will find a series of requirements, please check that you have read and understood them. They will be mandatory for your receipt of certificate.
Course attendance(Required)
You must attend 80% of all live sessions in order to receive your certificate. There are a total of 9 live sessions, which means you must attend at least 7 of those. By checking yes below, you are agreeing that you will not receive a certificate if you do not attend 7 out of 9 live sessions.
Submitting questions for mentorship sessions(Required)
You will be asked to submit one well thought out question related to required material at least 24 hours prior to each mentorship session By checking yes below, you are agreeing that you will not receive a certificate if you do not submit one well thought out question 24 hours prior to EVERY mentorship session (including any one you do not attend).
Completing questions for consideration(Required)
For many of the videos there are associated questions for consideration. You are required to respond to all questions for consideration, although there is no requirement as to how you do that - bullet points, single line sentence, paragraphs, whatever works for you. By checking yes below, you are agreeing that you will not receive a certificate if you have not responded to all questions for consideration.
Refund policy(Required)
You may, at any time prior to 2 weeks before the training begins, cancel your registration and receive a refund, less an administrative fee of $250. After that time, there are no refunds. However, you can reschedule for a future training session at no cost as long as you register for a session within the next 12-month period. No refund will be available if you attend a program and are dissatisfied with its presentation or content, or if you do not actively participate for any reason. No refunds will be given once the course has begun.
